As our business continues on this exciting growth a fantastic opportunity exists within our Supply Chain Planning Team. The Supply Chain Planner will manage all the meat supply chain planning process with a focus on production. Working closely with all elements of the supply chain ensuring supply is planned to meet demand within the Coles network and enable great availability for our stores and customers.
The role of Supply Chain Planner is critical to the replenishment of stock into DC and stores on a daily basis through the execution of an extended planning horizon and working with suppliers to manage events and seasonal activity.
Working with a broad range of functions within the business, this role will allow you to work cross functionally across the business and gain a strong operational network.
To be successful, you'll have:
Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to work constructively with key stakeholders and successfully contribute to the planning and improvement of our meat supply chain. You will be directly responsible for managing the supply planning process, preparing optimal supply plans and measuring performance.
This is a position requiring strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to influence at a senior level and the ability to make quick, fact based decisions. You will have extensive supply planning experience ideally within a manufacturing or production environment. Your experience working with fresh product is desirable and experience working with meat or dairy would be an advantage. Your ability to remain outcome focused and your passion to continuously improve will be critical for your success in this role.
• Improve availability, achieve inventory targets and manage supplier performance
• Management and control of the meat supply chain planning process with the ability to drive change and initiatives
• Understanding the business and customer requirements and working to achieve targets and sales goals
• Working collaboratively and presenting opportunities for inventory, promotions and solve any issues
• Identify opportunities to optimise the end to end supply chain
• Manage the product's lifecycle through collaboration with suppliers & commercial teams
